Spirit is a vital and sacred element of the healing process. Illness is more than
physical disability and psychological challenge. Rather, it is an opportunity to learn more about who we are and is a tool
to move us forward on our spiritual journey. Physical disease can be viewed as the body’s expression of psychospiritual
unrest. Together, Rev. David McArthur and Dr. Len Saputo will
explore the meaning of illness in this larger context, in an effort to “reunite” medicine and spirituality. After
all, it is only an illusion that there is a separation between these two perspectives. The difference between curing and healing
will also be highlighted. Healing is often referred to as “the
return to wholeness.” It is revered as our sacred journey within—a journey that leads to a healthy connection
with self, others, and all that there is. We hope you will join us for this interactive exploration of the role of Spirit
in healing.
