World Day
of Prayer at Unity Center Walnut Creek On World Day of Prayer, September 10, 2009, Unity Center of Walnut Creek will join with others in prayer around
the world as we hold an hourly meditation from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a World Day of Prayer Service from
7:00 to 8:00 pm. Please join us in this powerful movement of love and energy. This event will be
held at the Unity administrative office, at 1800 Oak Park Blvd., Pleasant Hill. If you cannot come to our Unity office on this day, we invite you to pray
with us from home or from work as we join with thousands of others around the world in prayer on this day.
Global World Day of Prayer
The theme for this year's World Day of Prayer is:
Reach in. Reach out. We can change the world. There you can submit a prayer list, participate with others
in an online prayer vigil, and become a "prayer partner" during the full week
with a special list of names to hold in prayer.
You can also submit a "Spiritual Action Plan."
This new addition to our annual event is intended to unite us as a world community as we put our faith
into action. Any action—big or small—can make a difference. - Reach in.
What will you do? Now's the time to reach in through prayer & meditation and let Spirit guide you. (If you can’t
think of a plan, visit our Spiritual Action Board for an ongoing list of what others are doing.).
- Reach out. Share
your intention with the world. Share your spiritual action intentions with the world on our Spiritual Action Board.
- We can change the world. Bookmark the Spiritual Action Board and visit us often as you work on your Spiritual Action Plan, so you can update us on how you're putting your plan into
action, and your results.
