Drawing from the works of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, Carl
Jung, and others, this workshop addresses the issue of loss as opportunity for growth. Grief is an inevitable
part of life that can come from many experiences—the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, or a changing relationship,
to name a few. Understanding grief and its impact on mind, body, and spirit, can help us to cultivate balance
through even challenging times.
In this class we will explore
grief through the framework of spiritual alchemy. Like the medieval alchemists who sought to change lead
into gold, we will open to the richness of our own unfolding journey, cultivate compassion, clarity and an awareness of grief’s
inherent gifts.
