This is the second part of a two-part course on the journey to wholeness through spiritual awareness. The first four
weeks focused on “Essentials for the Quest.” The second four weeks, “The Labyrinthine Path,” will
explore the journey itself, and what arises as we approach realization, including trust, transformation, the role of will,
and consecration. Exercises in each class will ground the steps as we take them.

Conscious spiritual development has been the focus of Susan’s
own path, her studies, and her work with others since 1970. Her Master’s Thesis is on “The Evolution of Consciousness
in Humans.” After creating and directing the M.A. in Interdisciplinary Consciousness Studies at JFKU
for 7 years, she became the Minister of Unity of the Spirit in Berkeley and Orinda for 13 years, a new church originally inspired
by the ministry of Rev. Carol Ruth Knox of UCWC.
